Maria Mastoraki

My name is Maria Mastoraki and I’m one of the emergency veterinarians at Evidensia Hospital in Amsterdam.

I came recently to the Netherlands to pursue a better future regarding veterinary field. I finished the university in July 2020. I became a vet as I’ve always been passionate about animals. In the future I would like to begin a specialisation regarding diagnostic imaging. I enjoy emergency cases due to the fact that you are getting experienced in many different fields. Another important reason I like emergencies, is the interaction with the pet owners as they are often nervous or worried while entering in the hospital.  In my free time I usually prefer to travel and adjust into new cultures. That’s why I took the decision to move in the Netherlands.
